okay so this might be long. It started as my whole grade was going to a store because we were having a dance or something like that at school( it was in the morning), and they drove some of us in a limo and some in a blue school bus. It was kind of like a strip mall and there were a lot of little stores and everyone went in the clothing store. the store had tunnels(like at chucky cheese) I lost my phone in the tunnels and I knew i lost my phone when I lost it but I kind of just kept walking. Then we were all leaving to go to school and I remembered I lost my phone so me and my friend went back in to find it and when we went outside they were all driving away and we didn't care too much. We started walking and it was getting dark and my friend was carrying a laptop and this girl, who wasn't lady gaga, but was supposed to be lady gaga, walked right by us and then it got all foggy. When we got out of the fog saw my sister and she was standing by a table, which had nothing on it and she was wearing a red sweatshirt. Then these kids came up to us and they asked us what time it was and I looked at my phone and it said 13:07 and my friends said 11:60 or something like that. What does this mean? It is really really strange, I always have strange dreams. Like one night I had a dream that shaun white was driving me around everywhere. Really weird. Why do I have such odd dreams? Really though, all of my dreams are not normal. hahOh yeah, and my friend was wearing a big purple poofy dress. more

Resolved Question: How can I start making new friends?

For the longest time I have been having trouble making friends. People have even tried to talk to me and tried to have me hang out with them, but I've just stayed away from them.... I have anxiety attacks that happen a lot (I've had them for almost 3 years.), and I'm kind of shy. My self esteem is pretty low, and I am very self conscious. The way I dress isn't really the best.... I usually just wear a regular shirt with a random sweatshirt over it all day, and I'll wear these slipper shoe things. (Because I like taking my shoes off in class. :)) I'm always hearing my family members say 'You need friends!', 'Have you made any friends yet?', and they say other things, but I'm getting sick and tired of hearing them say stuff like that! It's very irritating! I feel so lonely.... Whenever it's the weekend or when school is over, all I do is play on my computer and stay in my room all day, and I'm getting bored with all of that.... I think I could actually be a good friend, because I'm not really the person that would like to start drama, I'm pretty sure I could be loyal, I don't make fun of people, I guess I'm pretty respectful, I'm willing to support people and help them through with rough times, and throughout those rough times I will try my hardest to give the best advice I could possibly give them. And this lady that comes to talk to me about things even said so herself that she thinks I could be a great friend. So how can I start talking to people, and how do I make the conversations last long? Also, how could I get rid of my anxiety attacks? Please help me out here! I started taking this kickboxing class where i felt someone staring at me in class. It was another woman staring at me and when i would turn to look at her she would turn away. I would take a weight lifting class and when i would take my sweatshirt off she would be in front of me. She would then turn around saying how skinny i got. There was a party for someone and I was leaving saying good bye to someone and she was staring at me again. As soon as i looked at her she looked at the floor. This woman is now teaching the class and I have been on her eye since she started teaching.. If I start dogging it in class she yells at me, she jumped in front of me in the middle of the class saying how skinny i got, she gave me some interesting nicknames (skinny, babes, sweets, girlfriend, and honey).. i have also caught her staring at me with a huge smile a couple of times in front of the class. when in class i find that if she is near me and my friend she is always pushing me harder and not my friend. lately i found that she isn't yelling at me much but being nicer. she said thanks babes when i got the attendance sheet for her. i found that i have trouble talking to her because i feel this weird vibe between the two of us. If i watch her for the next move she seems to make some gestures with her mouth but don't know if that is anything.. She was talking to someone in the class and saw me looking and gave the lady a hug. So i don't know if she was trying to make me jealous or if it was someone she knew.. I asked her to send me her schedule so i could watch her softball game since she coaches. She said that she will give me a copy of the schedule.. Is she just being nice or is there something else? What do I do?would this also mean if i wear something that makes me look cute in class she stays away from me? Also, when she talks to me her tone of her voice is lowered.. Resolved Question: uncalled for!!! lunch aid in middle school!?

I am in eighth grade. I am a girl. I am not "popular" nor do I dress like a "s,.lut". Our school dress code is that shorts/dresses/skirts must be at least fingertip length, straps for shirts must be at least two finger width, and bra straps aren't allowed to show. So on Tuesday, I wore this dress. It ended at the top of my knee cap, so it was legit with the code. But this lunch aid pulled me to the side and said "Your dress is awfully short young lady!" Today, I wore a white tank top (it was 2 fingers wide) and a spaghetti strap shirt over it. I used a strap perfect thing, so none of my straps were showing either. The SAME lunch aid pulled me over and angrily told me to "Put on a sweatshirt and keep it on the for the rest of the day" (exact quote). I know for a FACT nothing I wore violated the school dress code. I feel extremely disrespected and violated that this woman tells me I am dressed innapropriately. It bothers me alot, because there are other girls that dress much much worse than this and they NEVER get in trouble. Also, lunch aids are NOT supposed to tell us if we're violating dress code anyways! That's teacher/principal stuff! What should I do next time this lady says anything to me? more

Voting Question: What is my best choice to lose weight/ get in shape?

I am 24 yrs old and since I had my kids, I can't lose the last 20 lbs. I've been trying for the last year and I'm stuck at 165. I lost 5 lbs on Weight Watchers but gained it back. Should I consult with a nutritionist to get a food plan? Or should I hire a personal trainer at the gym 4 days a week? I know that gaining muscles is as important as losing pounds. I know all the rules about exercise and what to eat but clearly I'm not putting it all together or something because it's not working. All I care about is that by the summer, I don't have old lady back fat anymore and I can put on a pair of shorts without covering up my thighs with a damn sweatshirt. I'm tired of being self conscious and always worrying about my fat rolls sticking out. I hate being overweight and it is ruining my life, my self esteem, and my confidence. Somebody please tell me what the hell to do. P.S. I do have my days where I eat some candy or something I shouldn't - but for the most part I eat good. Cereal or pb toast for breakfast... chicken and veggies for dinner or pasta... I don't eat a lot of junk food on a daily basis. more

I'm 14 and I sweat a LOT under my armpits. It's really gross, and I have to wear big dark sweatshirts all the time to hide my huge pit stains. I hate not being able to wear what I want because I have to worry about sweating! I've tried basically EVERYTHING that people have recommended, and some work better than others, but none of them have stopped my armpits from sweating! I've tried Mitchum (for women and I even tried for men), Secret, Lady Speed Stick, and I use Certain Dri roll-on at night plus my deoderant, which definitely does help the sweating, but I still get pit stains. My Mom said that I probably have hyperhidrosis because her and one of her brothers has/had it also. Does this go away once I get older? How can I deal with this because it's been like this for a couple of years and I'm SO sick of it! It's so embarassing and gross! Help please! more

Hello, I'm 16 (male) and I was home alone with my brother (7 years old) and it was snowy so we were in our pajamas just watching movies and stuff. So i walked past my front window and i see this lady walking to my door. I was gonna answer it but she didnt go to the door. She went to the window so i hid behind a wall. She peered in through the windows with her hands cupped. She left in a minute or so and I resumed relaxing on my saturday. Then agin, i look out the front window and now theres a guy in a sweatshirt looking at the back of my house throught the side of it. Im surronded by townhouses, like Im a big house surronded by townhouses in my backyard. So i called my mom and told her and she said dont worry. Then i saw two foreign guys come with the white guy and look and point behind my house from the front. I was panicking so i brought my brother upstairs and we hid. I told my mom to call the cops and she said she'd call my aunt. So im on the line with her and shes threewaying us. She says to my aunt, yeaaaa Tim is worried bout sommmmmee guys at the house" and i was like MOM! please tell her to come quick. So i was so jittered i called the cops. They came and the situation was quite funny. But my family gives me crap about it now. Ill post what actually happened soon. more

Resolved Question: should the laundromat/or worker pay?

while doing laundry this morning at 9:15 one of the washers broke so i had to wait until 11:30 for the owner to get there to unlock the machine. (i moved them to a different washer at this time) while waiting i told the worker i had to be to work at 12 so i would be back at about 4 to get my clothes out to dry. she offered to do them for me but i told her atleast 4 times no i would do them myself she said that was fine and i left the laundromat at 11:51. by the time i made it back at 3:45 all my clothes were out of the washer and dryed. now the problem is that some of the clothes should of never went in the dryer so now they are to small for my two year old to wear the items were jeans and sweatshirt/pants that i have never put in the dryer before for this problem. so when i called and talked to the owner he said he remembered me and i told him that i had told the lady to not put the clothes in the dryer that i would do them myself and that he had to do something about this problem he told me to get over it that im not getting any money that its my responsibility that i cant just leave clothes in the washer then hung up on me. so am i at a lose or should one of them have to pay for something i told the lady not to do im talking atleast like $100 worth of clothes. are there any privacy laws when it comes to laundromats and there workers? i need help! more

I was like calm down! and he was like okay, hang out with me up here. So I was hanging out with him , and one of our mutual friends was there, so we were llike whos do you like better. And the friend was like "like what better" And he put his our around me and was like "whos sweatshirt do you like better" and then later on the mutual friend was going to shoot him with a rubber band, and the other guy went behind me and was like holding on to me, and was like shoot her not me! But then the mutual friend was like aww , you two make a cute couple, and he was like uhh I dont like her. and anyways shes a lesbian(im not.) He held my hand. Resolved Question: Could someone maybe break down this for me?

Okay so obviously I'm not asking for a whole analysis on this because it's far too detailed/ridiculous for every detail to mean something, I'm just asking for a simple breakdown of the meanings of colours, objects, actions, etc in dreams and what they could mean in this case. It started with me sitting in the back seat of a pickup truck (with no one driving it) speeding down a deserted highway in broad daylight. I started freaking out, screaming, trying to climb into the front seat and stop the car when all of a sudden the vehicle went through and underpass. Then, out of nowhere, I was no longer in the truck. I was now laying on my back in dewy grass. The area was very Alice In Wonderland-esque, a forest of pretty trees surrounding a grassy clearing in the woods, with a long rectangular tea table in the middle. Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING (the trees, the grass) was purple, except the tea table and chairs, they were white. I saw a little castle in front of the teatime setup. It was very fairytale-like. It looked like it could have been made out of candy. And it was also purple. Then a tall, pretty but not beautiful woman came out of the castle. She was like a more over-the-top version of Marie Antoinette, with huge hair and a big fluffy (purple) 18th century dress. She had thick white makeup on with a heart-shaped beauty mark on her cheek and violet lipstick. She had many courtiers and servant with her, also in purple 18th century French outfits. She was very sweet and caring, welcoming me into the mini-castle. When I got in there, she offered me anything I wanted, and then giggled and proceeded to have fun with her courtiers. I saw a boy sitting in the corner, and approached him. He was not in 1700s garb, but rather a grey sweatshirt with the hood on, over RobinHood-esque tights, with a pan flute on a chain around his neck. I tried to talk to him, but he was depressed and wouldn't speak much, other than telling me that I could never go home, the other people wouldn't let me. He put his arm around me and we sobbed together, looking out the window as it got dark, wishing we could go home. Then the "queen" like lady interrupted us and told me to go put some other clothes on. I went into another room and some servants gave me some old fashioned clothing. I motioned for the boy to come into the room with me (so maybe we could escape) and he came into the room, but all of a sudden the scene ended. I then found myself in my bathroom (of my house), laying on the tile floor. Then, I heard my parents socializing outsite the bathroom door.
