Voting Question: what would be the best way to plumb a refugium?
i have a 55 gallon seaclear acrylic aquarium that i filter with a eshopps model 100 wetdry filter and an eshopps overflow box. I dont have room in my wetdry filter for a fuge due to the skimmer, how would i go about hooking up a separate tank for the fuge without having to use a 2ed overflow box or 2ed return pump

Ok so there is a tank on sale at petco:
These complete kits take care of all the basics for you. Along with a sparkling, 20 gallon SeaClear Hexagon tank, you'll receive a fluorescent fixture and bulb, fish net, plastic plants, fish food and water conditioner, as well as an external power filter. The unique hexagon shape creates interest, and allows a clear view of your fish on all sides. It also fits easily into corners or areas with limited space. Made from the clearest material available, SeaClear acrylic aquariums are 17 times stronger and less than half the weight of a comparably sized glass aquarium. Since acrylic is impervious to the corrosive effects of saltwater, SeaClear acrylic aquariums are suitable for both fresh or saltwater use. SeaClear acrylic aquariums, manufactured by CASCO Group, Inc., carry the limited lifetime warranty against leakage.

I'm researching buying a 50 gallon aquarium. I have two Biorbs right now and love them. They were significantly less expensive than this tank though. I want an acrylic aquarium for the light weight, color and water clarity, and no distortion on the fish. All of them seem to be expensive.
I like the idea of this tank being a system but is it easy to use? Also, are the filters, supplies, etc expensive?
The Biorbs perform beautifully. My 16 gallon tank cycled in two weeks without a nitrite spike over .25. I had more trouble with the 4 gallon but I really overfed at first. Now they are perfectly clear and beautiful after two months. Does the Seaclear perform as well as this?
